I met Olive 1974 while living on Railton Road with my young daughter Simone, who was age 3, Olive and my daughter developed a deep love for each other. They conversed like Olive was the child and Simone was the adult! but anyone who knew Olive knew that’s how she was. She made my daughter and her little friend feel like they were important at that young age. Olive brought my daughter several books, my daughter who is now 37 and still remembers Olive have passed on those books to her 3 children.
Olive will never DIE. WE LOVE YOU ALWAYS, HOPIE, SIMONE.
Hi Hopie – don’t know if you remember me, Sheron Hamilton-Pearson, I used to be with you guys at Oval House and Railton Road. Remember the sculpture of the black Panther fist that I made?
